Hello.
Toped up my balance, checked roaming but the roaming still doesn’t work. 4G doesn’t work. It shows that it’s present but nothings works. I’ve turned on and turned off my phone a few times. Still nothing.

What should I do? Thanks

Welcome to the EE Community

Where is it you have travelled to and did you receive a welcome text when you arrived?

If you are on Pay as you go, you do need to have used your number in the UK for a chargeable activity before being able to connect abroad and to use data you would need to purchase a data add-on or pass to be able to connect, for calls and texts you would need to have credit available.

I paid directly on the EE application with my English chip and I am on the territory but the chip works because I can call and text but I can't use 4g

If you can make calls & send texts abroad, you're using a local network and thus are roaming.

When you say, you "can't use 4G", do you mean that you're having problems using mobile data?

If so - is "data roaming" enabled on your phone? Have you tried manually connecting to a different local network, and do you have the same problem then?

Have you bought a pack after topping up?

If not, calls and texts will work however will be charged at the standard rate.
