I'm going around Europe for 11 weeks and wondering if there's anything I need to know about, as I know some companies cancel contracts if abroad for too long

@OliverOS EE will not terminate or suspend your contract if you’re going abroad,. if you wish to use your device when abroad, then you need to text roaming to 150 so it can connect to a roaming network and when you get to your destination, you will receive a text message with what options you have regarding costs.

You may be confused with two concepts..

1: PAYG lines are indeed suspended if there is no chargeable usage for 6months.

2: Pay-monthly lines with inclusive roaming, are subject to the "Stable Links" policy which broadly requires UK usage for 2months in every 4.

A pay-monthly contract line will remain live & active for as long as the bills are being paid - whether you use the services or not is immaterial.
