No, APNs do not change as you need to connect to your home network wherever in the world you are.

Having a SIM card from a Polish operator (Polkomtel) I cannot send or receive MMS messages with EE UK as a roaming operator. No problem doing it with Vodafone UK. So the MMS configuration cannot be wrong.

You'll need to speak to your own carrier about this issue.

Thanks

Why can't MMS config be wrong? They are diff networks. But is your home APN changed when you roam? I dunno!

Have you got?

When you are roaming, you are using the radio coverage of the local network but your data traffic is normally routed via your home operator's core network.

EE cannot assist with a foreign network customer using their home network services, although they should show some interest in your valuable test thus far.

What you wrote only confirms my suspicions.

But I also thought that maybe some UK networks impose restrictions on foreign operators.

You can't rule that out, can you?

Restrictions should not stop core services from working.

More likely is a fault, that may not be known until reported.
