If you receive a call from uk while in Portugal does the caller get charged international ?

@lindaottwat1950 No. The caller will pay the what ever they have setup to use the device while there. It could be a roaming pass or the daily rate.

A caller to your mobile number pays whatever their provider charges to call a UK-EE-mobile number. It would be unfair to do anything else, otherwise callers will never know what a call will cost before they dial.

Whether you answer that call in Portsmouth, Peterborough or Perth is immaterial. If you answer that call in Portugal, you pay the incoming international leg, which within the EU is either a £2.47/day charge or inclusive within a roaming pass option.
