I have been with EE for years through their various incarnations and have 2 contracts. In August I was told on the phone I would get free roaming EU as I was a long outstanding customer till at least the end of my current contract. It was great no issues.

I am going away again to find this has gone. I called and just said I would like it back . The CS didn’t believe me I said I have screenshots saying I had that benefit and she can check my costs whilst I was in EU and roaming charge was 0 . She checked and agreed with me but then she still needed to check that phone call and would call me back today at a certain time and if what I said was proven she would help give me it back. I did get a call reference.

No phone call so I spoke to them again this CS said and she checked with her Manager as it was taken away they cannot give it back in any way. I said what about the recorded call she said no need we can’t help you once it’s gone it’s gone even it’s pre-existing on any plan or agreement.

it’s the principle I feel ripped off now as I will be going abroad on two contracts imminently

If you have a recorded call, or screenshotted evidence of being told that you would retain anything as inclusive, and have not - then that seems like a good basis for a complaint.

Make the best decisions for your current trip, based on your current circumstances.
