Roaming in Egypt

Hi everyone

Im going to Egypt next week, but am confused ( normal for me) about Roaming. It appears there are no packages that will cover Egypt. The advice is that I will get a link when i land there and to follow that . My question is - has anyone done that and is it a secure link with EE or an Egypt mobile company?

Your Welcome msg will contain links to EE.

You cannot use your usual UK allowances outside the EU but will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/egypt.

If you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.

If you are on PAYG, just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.
