Thanks for coming here.

If you have been able to test your SIM in another device and the issue has continued we would recommend trying a replacement SIM.

Have you tried manually connecting to other networks?

Can you send texts OK?

I purchased a roaming abroad package earlier on in the year and went to France for a month - all was well. My roaming package allows use in Australia so I continued to pay for the package knowing that I was coming to Australia in September 2024. Having arrived here (Australia) I received a phone call from the UK but the person calling couldn't hear me - they tried 4-5 times and each time I could hear them but they couldn't hear me. I rang my wife's phone (who is with me in Australia) and she couldn't hear me either. So I went to Apple and they put my SIM in another iPhone and tried to call me - same problem! Their view is that it must be an EE problem.

Any ideas anyone?

Try manually cycling through all the available local networks in turn. That will rule out an issue with the specific Australian network you're currently connected to.
