Hotspot whilst in the US

Hi all, I am currently in the US and have paid for data roaming. My children have tried to use my hotspot but it just won’t work - I have turned off maximise compatibility but not sure what else I can do? They click on my hotspot, enter the password but it doesnt connect. Any help very much appreciated! Thanks so much

@VB1420 : You say your children can't use your hotspot but can you yourself use data whilst there?

Hello yes that’s right. I’ve now reset my network settings and now no one can find my personal hotspot at all!

Is your phone still working as normal since resetting the network settings?

Is your phone on the most up to date software?
