How To Top Up Data on PAYG

Hi, we're away in the caravan with no signal but purchased an EE PAYG sim and a TPLinkMIFI dongle... Eventually got it all set up but need more Data for last few days of holiday.

How can I just add a data pack please?

Just purchased a £5 top up but seems it only adds 250mb data 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻😂😂😂

Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

Hi, yeah for some strange reason it wont allow me to add data so will use what I have until it runs out 😞😞😞

I still have just over 2gb of data plus about 500mins of texts and calls etc from my original £10 sim plus I added a £5 top up this morning thinking it would have more than 250mb of data 🤷🤦🏻

Seems you bought a £5 pack with your top-up rather than a data add-on.

I thought you had a your SIM in a mobile router. So the mins of calls won't be much use for you.

Yep, sim is for a router and mins are no use to me... Put sim card in my phone thinking it would be easier... Will it switch to data only top up if I put it back in the router?

It won't switch to anything particular. It will do what you tell it to do.

For some reason you bought a pack. You need to top-up & buy a data add-on on that page I showed you.

Yep unfortunately when I go to buy data only it reverts me to a top up page where I wasted £5 this morning 😂😡

Sorry, you mean when I buy a top up I need to add data top up at the same time? Therefore as I didn't do it this morning at the same time I need to buy another £5 top up but add additional data at the same time ie you can't top up data unless you purchase a call top up at the same time?

1 after the other! There's 2 stages to buying any allowance:

Top-up your credit with money or have it there already.
Use your credit to buy a pack or add-on.
