Why has it been removed? I'm a pensioner who barely uses his phone but now I'm either going to have to pay double or have no plan and pay 40p a minute. You should be helping people in these times as we're all skint. I don't need data as I use my WiFi I didn't even use half of my calls last time so now if I want it the cheapest is £10. Been with EE since it was T-mobile and this feels like a kick in the teeth as you're forcing the likes of me to pay 100% more.

Just did a Google search and found this.

The EE legacy £5 "Everything Pack" (often referred to as the £5 pack) is a discontinued Pay As You Go (PAYG) plan that is no longer available to new customers or for re-purchase if it has not been allowed to auto-renew.

I didn't stop the auto renew and I've got credit in to cover it so why has it not automatically renewed?

My account just says I have no pack surely I should still have it as I didn't cancel it. I'm not getting a £10 pack as I hardly use it but I'm certainly not going to pay standard rate of £4 for 10 minutes (40p a minute is mad). It's advertised as I've shown on above screenshot, I haven't cancelled it so why can't I get it? I don't get upset easily but I'm actually fuming. Years of being on payg with you and this is the treatment I get. As I said I'll have to go elsewhere to see if I can get a cheaper deal in the .meantime I'll use my BT phone as unlimited landline and mobile calls are included in my plan it's just a shame I can't use my mobile if I'm out . I've repeatedly typed ALL PLANS and still showing what's in my previous screenshot PLAN05 £5 yet it's treating my as a new customer and not renewing it, just saying "sorry I didn't recognise that" yet it's showing as an option. I can't afford a contract or 40p a minute which is £10 for 25 minutes. My BT phone is £5 a month and I can call mobiles and landlines all included. To some people £10 is nothing but I'm on pension credit and finding it really difficult to make ends meet. OK rant over, if anyone stuck around to read all of this thanks for your time and patience. I'll miss EE as the app is now very user friendly compared to my previous experiences years ago, I'd look at a BT mobile sim but apparently BT and EE merged so that's probably a waste of time unless I get to talk with someone who can get me the same plan as I've learned over the years you can ask one person who won't do something yet ring back get someone else who is really helpful. Anyway adieu and wish me luck.

The EE legacy £5 "Everything Pack" wasn't "PLAN05". It was invoked by "EP5" but you don't have it anyway as you have no active pack. You did effectively cancel it by either not auto renewing it at some time or EE withdrawing it.

The PLAN05 is there in my screenshot for £5 a month that's the plan I was on and I've got credit in my account so it's been stopped by EE not me, it plainly says it's available as I've proven in the screenshot but when I enter PLAN05 I get the "I didn't understand message". I've just looked at addons and there's a £1 a day addon that'll do for me as I'll just buy it as needed.

BTW the plan always auto renewed as long as I had credit in my account. @XRaySpeX

I've still got my BT landline with unlimited calls, I only needed the £5 addon to make calls when I'm out and about which isn't often. I would have gladly paid the £5 but I'm certainly not paying £10. Just totally getting rid of the lowest tier and replacing it with a 100% hike plan is harsh to say the least.
