    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Received a new sim card yesterday and placed it into my phone. I got texts from EE saying everything is set up and instructions on how to top up too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For some reason, I can’t receive any texts from anyone, it keeps failing to send on their side. I’ve asked family members to try text the phone number but no luck.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions? It says there’s an error activating the SIM card on the website, which makes sense I guess as it’s already topped up and I’ve been able to text others&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Jut to check, when you mention this being a new SIM, is this a brand new pay as you go number, or a replacement SIM for an existing number you have with us?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What model of phone are you using too, and can you try sending a message to your own number?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes it’s a new pay-as-you-go sim card, with a new number.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I first tried in an iPhone 13 Pro and then in an S24 Ultra. Also, yes, I am able to message myself&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks &lt;SPAN style="color:var(--ck-color-mention-text);"&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4838635"&gt;@rgg2000&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;, which is the main phone that you intend to use this SIM with?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it's the iPhone, do you know if people are able to still message you via iMessage?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it every single person that texts you that gets this error as well, or only certain people?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'd also recommend doing a restart on your phone as well, just in case this can help kick any fresh settings with the SIM into gear.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Peter&lt;/P&gt;</description>
