Who is your pre-existing phone number with? If it's with EE on a contract your EE a/c will only contain that & a PAYG no. cannot be added to it. They don't mix!

hello, i am an existing EE customer and have bought an EE pay as you go 20GB sim plan. today i recieved a new SIM card in the mail. is there a possibility i am able to keep my pre existing phone number? also, the EE website says i dont have any ongoing plans, which is incorrect. my plan seems to not have been activated and i am wondering how i can do so. thank you.

If you are already with EE on a Pay Monthly contract and were looking to move to Pay As You Go, then the process for doing this is to call Customer Services to give 30 days notice to transfer your number to Pay As You Go and the termination of your contract.

If you were already on Pay As You Go, you can see the options to change your pack to a different plan by texting ALL PACKS to 150. The process in this scenario is not to buy a new SIM as you already have one.

You are unable to port a number to a new SIM within the same network, unless moving from Pay As You Go to Pay Monthly where this can be done by Customer Services.
