I have a EE sim card in an EMERGENCY alarm autodialler. It does not need data, only calls & texts, but I can't seem to get a pack without data, it says I have £11 on my account but £0 on data, calls or texts. I don't understand why the money isn't linking to the calls & texts. This money needs to link to calls & texts for emergency purposes.

& so it should!

As you won't be using it often, I presume, you don't want to keep buying packs every month just in case it's needed. Just use the credit to make calls & texts at standard per-unit rates until it gets low & then top it up again.

What makes you think that the credit is not linking to the calls & texts? Can't it make them?

To save the SIM going into hibernation due to lack of use, just remember within every 179 days (~ 6 months) to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, or topping up.
