&lt;P&gt;Is the phone unlocked to work with any network?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you able to try that EE SIM in another phone and another SIM in that phone to see if this follows the SIM or the phone?&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>New sim not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I bought a new sim card for an old phone today but it isn't working at all. It just says "ee unavailable".&amp;nbsp; I've done all the troubleshooting steps such as turning the phone on and off and checking the service status in the area. I had to use the mobile number for my work phone (not ee) to register to post and can't use the app because I cannot receive the security code to the ee number!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I read elsewhere that you can kick-start the sim into working by topping it up. I've done that with my other phone and the money has come out of my account but I still have no service on the phone in question.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
