Hi,

Quick question, hopefully.

I have a member of staff who receives a 0345 number to his O2 mobile phone (the number is forwarded from a telephony company who provide the 0345 number).

The staff member is in contract but has awful reception on O2, so misses most of the calls.

His phone has dual SIM capacity - could I get an EE PAYG Free SIM for him to use as a secondary SIM, and get the 0345 number diverted to the EE PAYG SIM number?

Yes, EE don't care about the call forwarding to a PAYG number, that's up to your 0345 provider, it's just an incoming call for EE. It will need to be topped up and used every now and then to stop it being cancelled though and it will be a physical SIM as EE do not provide eSIMs for PAYG.

"Every now and then" is that chargeable usage is required at least once every 179 days. Without that, the SIM will be hibernated and you have a further 3months grace before outright disconnection after 273 days.
