My EE simcard is inactive

I have not topped up my simcard for 6 month - no activity - today I topped up 5$ - but my sim is still not active - and I can not call EE or Send Text - help me reactive that again . With love Thanks .

Posting your email address on an internet forum is an open invitation for spammers to contact you - I'd suggest editing that ASAP unless the site admins beat you to it.

Sounds like your PAYG SIM may have gone into hibernation due to non-use.

When did you previously make a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

I topped up yesterday. And still not active. Also can't call EE.

When it's gone into hibernation it's too late for topping up to reactivate it. You still need to call CS.
