Cannot make/receive calls

I purchased a £15 25GB pay as you go sim card and it is activated. I can receive/send texts and use the data, but I cannot make/receive any calls. I set up this sim in UK and I have already restart my phone a couple of times but it still doesn’t work. What should I do to make/receive phone calls successfully.

Welcome to the community.

An EE Pay as you go SIM card needs to be used, whilst in the UK, to make a phone call or send a text message to activate it for international roaming.

Did you use the SIM in the UK to do one of those things?

Yes I did, and it’s working now though took me couple of hours. But thanks for replying!
