hi.

i top up my phone 10pounds and its not working .i cant make any phone calls and no internet access. I had a conctract and then went to pay as you go so my sim is not hibernating. what should i do?

If you text BALANCE to 150 what reports back?

hi yes it did left my account. i cant send any messages and also calls to 150 are unable

What reports if you text BALANCE to 150? this is a free text service.

If you are unable to send the text please could you confirm when the last time you topped up or made any chargeable action with this SIM?

message come back as not sent. i have been using my sim for years and now i changed for payg as im in Poland. i did not wait i top it up straight away after my contract finished.last time i top it up it was last week. that was also my first time

Were you already in Poland when you moved from the contract to pay as you go, or did you use the SIM on pay as you go in the UK first?

yes. I was already in Poland. I spoke with ee customers service back in UK, and was told that i just need to top. I never use payg in UK

When you activate as Pay as you go, you have to make your first call in the UK before you go abroad to unlock it for roaming services.

If you did not make a call in the UK while you were on Payg you'll need to wait until you are connected to EE in the UK again before you can make it work for future travel.

@anya6 Yes once back in the UK you should be able to call again either using your available credit or by buying a pack with your credit.

I got a phone top up . £15 but my account was charged 13.50. I want a pay as you go and this top up will expire on 23/01/25

@Hamdbarekzehi66 : It's not the top-up that will expire; it's the pack you spent it on that expires after 30 days. That's what PAYG is.

I'm not clear as to what you want. Is it that you want PAYG but w/out the 30-day packs & add-on?

Hey there @Hamdbarekzehi66 , welcome back to the Community.

If you've only been charged £13.50, you will have opted in to our direct card payments for pay as you go.

This offers a 10% discount on the cost of a pack, and will automatically renew your pack at the end of the 30 day period.

As @XRaySpeX mentioned, 30 days is the duration of your allowances rather than the top-up, which should have already been assigned to purchasing the pack.
