Roaming didn't work agian

I've just come back from Faro in Portugal and once again my pay-as-you-go roaming didn't work and I was left without any service.
This happened last year in Italy. When I got home I called customer service who checked my account and phone settings and said it should have worked.

This time I got to Faro airport and recieved a txt message from 150 saying "welcome to Portugal" etc, to use my data I should text ROAMEU1D or ROAMEU7D, saying I had £11.55 balance. I renewed my subscription pack before I left the UK.~

So I text ROAMEU1D to 150 and guess what.........NOT DELIVERED message..
Tried again when further in the city centre same again, ........NOT DELIVERED message..

So I had no serivce again. I friend who was with me is on 02 and their service just worked straight away no questions, no need to text.

At this point I'm thinking of ditching EE and switching to 02

And the website is just horrible and hardly ever works (Edge or Chrome)

@Dan-in-stoke , did you try to do a manual search for a network?

Nothing wrong with the website.

I believe it was show several bars and the NOS network when I was in Portugal but on both occasions I got the not delivered warning.

Well the website either shows a blank page or an error for me.
If I go to the home page, login and go to the shop it just logs me out.

I'm on 1igig fibre broadband...every other website I go on works fine.

Did you try manually cycling through alternative local networks? This is the best way to ID whether a specific local network is the cause, or something on the UK side.

Also worth checking whether the error is "not delivered" or "not sent" - exact wording may vary.
