If not, then you will have to wait until you return to the UK, as it first needs activating here.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If that is not the case and you did use it in the UK, have you tried rebooting your phone, did you receive the welcome message from EE when you landed in Turkey?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can otherwise contact customer service using something like Skype for free, see my signature.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>hello,&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you for replying to my message&lt;BR /&gt;My sim card is on Pay as you Go.&lt;BR /&gt;Network kktcell in turkey not recognising it, all because of EE blocked it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Currently not working. Its pay as you go.&lt;BR /&gt;Used it in the UK and abroad many times, No problems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Never had problem with it. Every now and then, I get reminders to top up and make phone calls / messages (to keep my sim active).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This time,&lt;BR /&gt;I in the UK used it as normal, no problem. I even topped up my account Before I travelled.&lt;BR /&gt;My only mistake, I travelled without activating the ROAMING.&lt;BR /&gt;I get messages from various people, but unable to send back reply messages.&lt;BR /&gt;I did Not receive welcome to Turkey message.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;MY mobile number in the sim card lacking the international code. I could not edit the number. Denied access/ only admin provider van edit the content of sim card&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would sincerely appreciate it if you could help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you</description>

      <description>Hello&lt;BR /&gt;Yes I did use the sim card abroad and in the UK. Never had problems.&lt;BR /&gt;Infact, I have this sim card/ phone number for years.&lt;BR /&gt;Its Pay as you go. Kept it active and used it.&lt;BR /&gt;I looked at many options, yet No solutions.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here is what I noticed. The phone number bedded in the sim card is lacking the international country code. KKTcell not recognise my number as a result.&lt;BR /&gt;Restrictions to sim card (from provider) preventing me from adding the country code.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I only want to be able to get my EE mobile phone to work as it was, so I can send messages and deal with my finances.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your kind attention to my request much appreciate it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;PAYG phones are auto-enabled for roaming on first use in the UK, if you've used it abroad before then roaming is activated.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The SIM doesn't have a phone number embedded in it - all it has is a "SIM number" which will begin with 894412 signifying an EE-UK user. EE then map that "IMSI" to your mobile number within their network.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;How exactly have you kept the number active? A lack of chargeable usage for 6months or more, is the next thing to eliminate with PAYG.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Never faced problem / any issue with it, until now.&lt;BR /&gt;As I said. It worked fine for both phone calls and messaging.&lt;BR /&gt;This time, it stopped, I only receive messages, yet can Not send messages and or replies, nor making phone calls. phone calls disconnected.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I downloaded "sim manager" investigating the sim card. I found out; sim card disconnected, no network connections&lt;BR /&gt;On details of sim card, my mobile phone shown without country code. I have tried to edit the phone number, by adding +44 / 0044. Yet wasn't allowed to save the changes.&lt;BR /&gt;No joy at all&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you for responding to my cry for help...&lt;BR /&gt;I will Not give up...</description>
