Bought add on by accident, need monthly subscription instead

I need a refund on buying an add on for Data on top up, my parents did not tell me that add ons did not include texts or calls, I'd like my money back on it, but not sure if they would, has anyone else needed to refund an add on before, and did they do so?

Need to ask before calling in and sounding stupid lol

@Time4Tea2 : PAYG credit is not refundable nor transferable, except for the 1st unspent direct card payment.

So if I (a Pay As You Go customer) bought an add-on a week ago with my debit card, and I've only used 5 minutes of the included 500 minutes, can I not get a refund?
