I have a pay as you go phone as I live in Canada and only visit the UK about once a year. This is probably a really stupid question, but if I buy a top up, do I get calls, texts and data? I would buy a pack, but I don't want recurring charges as I'm only back in the UK for 2 weeks. Thanks in advance.

There is a way of using it w/out recurring packs, but 1st there's the Q of whether it is still live.

When did you previously make a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
