      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’m in New Zealand for up to 12 months and before I left the UK I changed my contract to pay as you go so I can keep my number. I put £10 on shortly after I arrived in NZ but now I can’t send texts or make any phone calls including to 150. Any suggestions?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No I didn’t, I switched just before I left and tried to top up before I got to NZ but couldnt as I needed to wait for it to change to pay as you go (I called ee and was advised of this).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Once abroad there is no way to activate this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When you return to the UK and connect to the EE home network this will work.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;It would have to be yourself who orders the SIM and the SIM will need to be used in the UK before travelling abroad.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
