    <description>&lt;P&gt;I bought a EE sim last year while I was in the UK on holiday - it expires on 19 July 2024 (the date that shows on the sim wrapping).&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am flying back to the UK this week and ‘topped’ up my EE (my login was still valid and I was easily able to top up).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That was about half an ago and the data still shows zero – my £15 top up reflects but no data.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I sent a text message to my brother living in the UK (he confirmed receipt) thinking perhaps this would activate the sim.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So far nothing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried calling the call centre on their ‘overseas number’ and gave up after 20 minutes of waiting for someone to answer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would appreciate if someone in this community could assist and advise what I am doing wrong.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4448046"&gt;@JackieRossouw&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; you need to purchase a data add-on. The credit on your account doesn’t go towards data usage for that you need a pack or data add on which can be purchased via your be credit on the account. &amp;nbsp; And seeing as though you’re not in the UK, you would have to purchase a data add-on for that location to use data in that location.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
