You can top up via the EE app, your online account

Top up abroad

In the EE app and go to Plans then Mobile and then select Top up

Log in to your account, go to Home, Plans and subscriptions then Mobile and then select Top up

Call +44 7953 966 250 and top up using a credit or debit card

or Call 360 direct from your EE phone

Had that change taken place while abroad you can't now use it at all while abroad. To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.
