Charges on PAYG sending GIFs

I sent a GIF in reply to a text message and was charged (I think) 39p, I that correct, I cannot see any breakdown on my account - I never send GIFs. so I don't know, Are GIFs charged differently from regular text. I was once charged for texting/phoning a "premium number when I just startid using the servuce years ago, is this similar?

Yes, any Picture Msg (MMS) is not included in your pack allowances & costs 40p each.

Calling Premium Service nos. is only similar in that they both are outside your pack allowances.
