Hi!

So I have a pay as you go SIM only contract. Which I have 9GB of data on, now I've never had this much data and know it is loads BUT the last few months EVERY month I've been running out of data! I don't understand because Ive never used this much and it doesn't make sense to me that I keep running out. Any help would be much appreciated!

PAYG is EE's prepayment offering, where you top-up and can only spend the credit you have.

SIM-only generally refers to a pay-monthly contract setup where you receive a monthly bill.

Thus a "Pay as you go contract" is a contradiction - you're either one or the other. Texting AL or BALANCE to 150 will result in a text message by response - among other things, it will advise whether you're on pay-monthly or PAYG.

It won't explicitly advise whether you're on pay-monthly or PAYG but you can infer from the response on which you are.
