I have pay as you go sim, how to activate roaming while travelling to Europe to france and italy specifically. Cant find how to topup, looking for any help around this

Do you have an active pack? Have you used that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK?

To use your pack allowances in the EU on PAYG there are roaming charges of either £2.50 / day, by having texted ROAMEU1D to 150, or £10 / week, by having texted ROAMEU7D to 150, to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment. You will receive a msg upon arrival telling you about these charges for roaming in EU & inviting to take up these options. If you opt to reply neither or you don't have an active pack, you will be paying standard rates for calls & texts & will need to buy a PAYG add-on for data.

Roaming for PAYG is auto-enabled once your phone is first used in the UK. There is no differential between EU-only & global roaming, the auto-activation covers you for all countries worldwide.
