I received a text from ee today that you are looking to cut my phone number off and was only given 24 hours to make a call which I tried. I only top up my account and few weeks ago as I am abroad and wish to keep my number as I use it for my banking.

This does sound like PAYG hibernation, and the solution to the predicament is contained within that text message.

Do you have credit on your account, @1Flint3?

If you do, you'll just need to make a chargeable call or text to avoid your account going in to hibernation.

If you don't, you'll just need to top up.

@1Flint3 As stated within the link I provided. This is also a public forum that doesn’t have access to your account to see what status it’s in. If your Sim has gone into hibernation, then even calling customer services is a phone call and will not work because of sim hibernation

Your top-up a few weeks ago should be enough to keep it activated.
