Have you registered its no. to your EE a/c?

It's really difficult when the SIM is not in a phone or router that can receive SMS.

As far I can see the only way is to put the SIM in a phone 1-time in order to register the no. with your EE a/c initially. This involves EE sending an authorisation text to the no. Once this has been carried out you may put the SIM back in the camera & thereafter you may top-up & buy add-ons thro' your EE a/c.

I've been trying to add a data pack on to my pay as you go sim for 3 days now. I've tried to pay by card was just failing all the time, finally tried to top up which was successful but still can't pay for pack using this method. Any advice?

Hi thanks for this but the Sim is in a CCTV camera which cannot be accessed without external (& costly!) help.
