I have recently tried topping up my PAYG phone, only to see a message that says closing account -£14.30.

I did manage to get a £10 top up completed before I noticed the above statement.

I am no longer able to use my phone even though I have credit.

Can someone please let me know what is going on?

This is the amount EE owes the user should he be quick enough to call & get it reactivated. 😉

It's not a credit in the hands of the user cuz it's been confiscated by EE. It's now a credit in the hands of EE and therefore a debit in the hands of the user.
