How to add PAYG number to existing ee account

I have bought my elderly mother a PAYG ee phone. Is it possible to add this to my account so that I can top it up and monitor usage from afar? And if possible, will a verification code have to be sent to her number? I suspect this is not possible as have looked in vain on website for how to do it.

Is your existing MyEE a/c for a contract no. or PAYG? You can't add a PAYG no. to a contract a/c. They don't mix. You'll need to set up a separate MyEE a/c for her.
