Hello I have a problem , I have a new SIM card , she is activated and topup in England , then my friend send me this SIM card in Norway. I see the good network strength 4 g is shoving as well , roaming is on , But enthernet didn work , I can’t call as well … he answer phone is abroad (

@Vikvik777 To be able to use that sim you need to pay the roaming charges for it in order to use it outside the UK if you are using packs. See HERE You also need EEs APN setting on your device to connect to the internet and your credit on the account if you are not using packs doesn’t go towards data you need a data add on to use that sim outside the UK. EE sims are not for none UK residents and are not away to get cheaper calls because it might be cheaper that local network for that country residence, EE PAYG users now have to pay to roam.

Hello Guys Please help.
im In Norway , my friend post for me new EE SIM card.
before He send he activate and top up my this sim for 30£ .yesterday EE make some changes right now need pay for roaming To … I do absolutely everything restart - change the phones , I add rooming , I have a network -4g show to , rooming is on too , I top up more 5£ , but anyway e-net doesn’t work , I can’t call ,EE answer looks like this phone Number is abroad. I have a IPhone XR software 16.5 I am a seaman and on Board is really **bleep** e-net .I can’t write straight to EE-chat please help me I add screenshots

on my IPhone I can’t Change the APN settings , and I don’t know what I need to do. Ee send my this settings file

I think i dio allready everything… but Any way doesn’t work … I don’t know where on IPhone I can change APN , I’m a seaman and I’m on board right now … I can’t write to on line chat …( maybe EE can send me file with APN settings ? For roaming ?

To activate the SIM, it must be used to make a call or send a text on the EE network in the UK. Do you know if your friend did this?

Yes I’m on Board - but we still have a network from shore … all crew members use shore I-net

Yes off course my friend , call to EE support , aktivate SIM card , and make top up …. Today he call to the EE support and he tell everything is okey SIM card is working and e-net must working as well . I can’t call I can’t send messages , but network and 4g is showing almost full.

Yes off course i change from telia to Telenor and then back … and restart the phone too. And network is full

A call or text must be made after top up as chargeable action to activate your SIM.
