For most, if not all, other charges PAYG is cheaper than contract. It seems unusual for EE to make EU roaming charges dearer for PAYG.

Hi! I'm wondering if the pay as you go customer will have the same opportunity as pay monthly customers with roaming. I mean at the moment pay as you go customer will have to pay £10 a week for roaming, while pay monthly customers will be paying only £15 a month. Can't they make the same for all the customers?

Hey there. Life is not fair. Us contract customers have been paying a roaming charge for nearly 2 years now while pay as you go will only start soon. So we contract customers didn’t get same opportunity as pay as you go customers. While I do agree it should be same for everyone. Only EE can decide who gets what but life’s not always fair mate.

If you want to avail yourself of pay-monthly services, you are free to convert to a pay-monthly plan. EE have made a commercial decision to price PAYG roaming in the manner they have.
