Using my payg dumb phone within France

I use my phone in the UK just for calls and texts. I'm going to France in a few days and will be there for a month. Will I be able to make calls and texts within France while I am over there? Will it be more expensive than in the UK?

Yes, you should be able to use your PAYG phone in the EU.

As yet EE haven't introduced any charges for PAYG users to use their UK allowances in the EU. EE has not yet announced if & when they may start. So you may continue to use your pack allowances in EU as before w/out charge.
