BUYING PAY AS YOU GO PHONES ON THE WEBSITE -RE SIMCARDS

Can anyone help me with my query

Im researching buying a pay as you go phone for an emergency phone & maybe buying it on this website My question is when its purchased is the sim card already in it or is the customer expected to know how to put it in themselves although theyve never done it & afraid of breaking it if thye did try it without help from someine who is trained

If a disability means they cant put it in themselves can a customer make a special request for it to be put in for them before its packed up & sent out

The SIM card comes in the same parcel as the phone but in its own packaging. New phones are in their own sealed package. SIMs are usually easy to insert.

If someone had a disability in their fingers which means they can't insert
it Can they make a special request that it be done for them otherwise
they're stuck with a phone they can't use

Can't you get a pal to fit it for you?

Maybe you ought to buy it from an EE retail store where they can fit it for you & forgo any right of return.

No not really my friends have all moved away - I am unable to get to a retail shop because I am attached to an oxygem machine 24/7 so cant get out which is why I was asking - if there was special circumstances & fully explained would they be prepared to help a disabled person

Dont forget also that not everyone has experience in putting in simcards in phones & would be afraid of breaking it if thyye did it themselves & end up with a phone thye cant use

Hello @equestrian26116.

We do encourage any customer who isn't comfortable putting together the phone/SIM to pop into one of our EE stores, however we understand not everyone is able to do that.

While we don't have a service that would see an EE employee visit a customers home to set up the SIM within a phone, we can absolutely have both sent out to be put together when a family member/support point is there with you, as they can utilise over fantastic support team via 150 if they come across any questions.
