PAYG - No waiting calls - what instead?

I know, that Waiting Calls is not available on PAYG. But what can I use instead? When Im having a phone call and somebody try to call me at the same time, he could not connect with me, he just can hear signal "busy lane". I dont receive any information about it, so I can not call him back. Why do I not receive any info on display or text or even massage on voice mail? Im missing many contacts to me and it really annoys me. If it does matter I have Iphone 7. What can I do in this situation?

@shevet The leaving of a voicemail is up to the caller that’s got nothing to do with EE as they can still leave a voicemail if they choose too. No voicemail no notification and someone calling you and not being able to get through because you’re on the phone has nothing to do with notifications from voicemail unless they leave a voicemail.

Have you setup any call diverts from you’re voicemail settings? Hold down the number one on your dial keypad and wait for it to call your voicemail, listen to the options given.

When the phone is switched off or on flight mode the caller has option to leave the message. When Im having a phone call, another caller dont have option to leave message. What can we do in this situation? I would like to have some kind of notification, because I want to know that somebody has tried to call me...
I checked the voicemail option and I couldnt find anything what could I change in this situation.

This won't be a voicemail option but an issue of your phone's divert settings.

Make sure all your "unconditional" diverts are set to voicemail - i.e. +44 7953 222222 - this must include "when busy", "when unanswered" and "when unreachable"

There is no diverts (forwarding) option on iPhone. You can forward all call, you can not pick on which situation when the call should be forwarded.
