Wifi calling on pay as you go phone

I spoke to EE on the phone and they said it was not possible to get wifi calling on pay as you go so I am confused as it says differently on the webpage.
I would like to know if this pay as you go phone has wifi calling please?

@BarneyB All devices sold by EE support Wi-Fi calling even those on PAYG.

@BarneyB Why would EE stop a service ? Wi-Fi calling is available to PAYG users. All devices sold by EE support Wi-Fi calling. Why would EE sell a device that doesn’t support a service that they offer.

I'm not gonna bother answering your petulance. I was told by an EE representative over the phone that pay as you go didnt do wifi calling. Why don't you ask her? Thanks....I guess

Wifi calling is available to all EE PAYG customers with a compatible device EE started enabling PAYG accounts from the 9th of June 2021.

the device in question would have different firmware from what Argos sell I would pop into a EE store and speak with a sales advisor so they can advise you correctly.

As per your advice I have spoken to representatives in a couple of local EE stores and they both said explicitly that wifi calling is not available on pay as you go?! What is going on haha?

WiFi Calling has been available on pay as you go with EE since June 2021.
