I put £10 on my old sim card and the money was taken but sim won't work, says not registered, does anyone know how i register it?

What says it's not registered? A PAYG SIM doesn't need registering to anything in order to use it.

Can you text AL to 150 from it & what does it fully report verbatim (it is free)?

Sounds like your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation.

When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

Ah, that explains that, its an old Sim I had in the draw with a £10 top up (which didn’t work) so I topped up on line, EE took the money though!!
