Top up credit rather data?

I bought an EE SIM card for use whilst in the UK whilst visiting. For £15 initial cost I got 30Gb data and a credit showing of £0.00. Now that I have topped up with another £15 my account shows just the remaining 2.6Gb of data but £15 credit when I was expecting to have another 30Gb added instead. Am I misreading this?

@Ukeeg : Your current pack is still active & not exhausted. It will renew using your £15 credit when your current pack expires or becomes exhausted.

What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?
