If you use the "switch to pay-monthly" facility, then you will retain your number as a matter of course.

@Johnjjg31065 : How did you swap? Did you ask CS to do the switch or did you do the switch from PAYG online by Switch to pay monthly and save . Either way would keep your no.& SIM.
