Can't receive calls abroad payg USA

Currently in the USA, and my PAYG sim can receive and send SMS messages, I can also make calls to the UK, but I can't receive calls. What's worst, I get no notification of a missed call. I'm told that when someone tries to call me it either goes straight to voicemail, or they are informed that "this persons phone is unavailable". Has anyone got any ideas what the issue is?

Have you restarted the phone?

If so, can you try manually selecting another network in your phone settings and see if you can receive calls?

Hi Leanne,

I have restarted the phone and the problem persists. When I manually select a network over automatic, sometimes I can’t even make outgoing calls, but all the time I can’t receive calls.

Are you able to try the SIM card in another phone to see if the same happens?
