The Google Pixels are known to have poor modems compared to most other Android phones. It's common for the phone to become hot and suffer battery drain if transferring a lot of data or when connected to a weak signal.

Every time I get a 5g connection my phone gets really hot and I can't access any online apps. I've got the Google Pixel 10 pro and thought they were able to cope with 5g?

What apps are not working and what error does it show.

Try restarting your device.

Try running system/device care.

If all else fails try backing up and factory resetting your device.

Thanks

Worth trying in normal mode and safe mode, to compare.

Any known apps that are downloading or uploading, streaming/backing up Google Drive, Photos, etc.

The general weather at the moment doesn't help either!

Good luck!
