EE's best network claims are not reliant on how individual bands are deployed or how the network performs in specific individual locations, although you are correct in that 2100Mhz has largely been dedicated to 5GNR in recent months.

4G can still be deployed at 1800Mhz with single or dual-carrier combinations, also alongside similar options at 2600Mhz, which are capable of speeds far in excess of those you quoted

The most expensive provider in the UK that offers very slow and highly unreliable internet.... They’ll describe the problem that’s arisen since EE shut down Band 1 (2100 MHz) ... Until March of this year, when EE was still providing the 2100 MHz band (Band 1), the money I paid for reliable internet was a fair price... . Since April of this year, when EE shut down that band, it’s been the absolute worst service they could possibly offer their customers... I’m using a good router, the R5020-5G, with a 4G/5G High-Gain Directional LPDA Yagi Antenna (11 dBi)... Signal parameters... Signal Strength: 31 (-51 dBm)
RSRP (dBm): -80 dBm
RSRQ (dB): -15 dB
SINR (dB) 4 dB...... download speed 27 Mbps... upload speed 22 Mbps 😉 Band 3. This has to be a joke!!!!!! I bought equipment for over 1k pounds.... I switched to Tree... download speed 360 Mbps, upload speed 180 Mbps.... EE The worst cell network in the UK!!! Change it.... or fix it Physical Cell ID 438

For 5G, it operates on 700MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz, 2600MHz, and 3500MHz/3600MHz (n78) bands
