If you enable WiFi calling does this mean calls will then be made via the home WiFi? If so is there an alternative solution, I live in rural Wales and our broadband speed is 0.5mbps so not fast enough to make calls.

Although it was posted over a year ago EVERYTHING that was said in the last message is identical to what has been happening to me in the last 6 months. I have to stand in my back garden to take calls.

The year-old post you added to mentioned no difference with VoLTE being disabled. This would suggest your calls are potentially being carried over 2G, and be consistent with some of what they reported.

Enabling WiFi-calling would be a good part of eliminating this - both VoLTE & VoWiFi use the same network-core and voice codecs.
