Welcome to the Community!

We know how important it is for you to be able to stay connected, so I'm sorry to hear you're having this trouble. Our Network Checker will let you know if this is a temporary outage, and allow you to sign up for updates, or if the area you have moved to isn't covered by our network yet.

We do offer WiFi Calling which will help in these instances, but I appreciate that this isn't ideal if you don't currently have broadband, but once this is installed then this will help.

I'm moving to an area of Bristol where there is absolutely no coverage. My 5G shows on my phone but there is no bar. This is super frustrating as I've not yet installed broadband.

Also, phone calls are shocking! People can't hear me, the line drops half way trough. My partner has a different phone but is also with EE and has the exact same problem. What can one do apart from changing providers?

I can see many people reporting the same problem. Can EE fix this? We are in 2026! that really shouldn't happen these days.

Thanks.

Was there coverage at your new home when you first viewed it? This would be a good indicator of whether this is a local coverage issue or a temporary fault at this time.

When you say that other people are reporting the same problem, do you mean the specific same location as yourself? Or poor coverage in general?

Out of interest, which area of Bristol are you referring to? And does the coverage check tool report the same? https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker
