Anyone else still have issues with no/bad signal?

I have read old post regarding this and its software issues and to wait for updates.
Phone gad has had an update to 26.2 but it still the same.
It’s definitely not a signal issue as other device,15pro on same EE plan is fine. 17 pro getting sos and 15 pro 2 bars 5g.

Your troubleshooting steps are inherently limited by having an eSIM.

Good morning @Bfuk

Thanks for reaching out here on the community.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing poor signal.

I know you have mentioned above that you have an eSim in the phone, are you using the dual sim in the phone or just using one?

Before you did your software update, was your signal alright?

How often are you seeing the error message SOS?

Is it happening in one particular area or multiple areas?

Thanks

hi Ritu_D

Signal never been great since I had the phone but just put it down to bad coverage. Wasn’t until recently when others had signal and I didn’t.
Most of the time I’m on WiFi so not sure how often it happens.

just managed to try a friends physical sim and straightaway I get 5g. Take it out so it’s back on my eSIM and back to no signal.

So that suggests it’s not the phone or coverage. Could there be an issue with the eSIM on the 17?

Thanks for sharing these details @Bfuk.

Since other EE users nearby have good signal and a physical SIM worked fine, I'd recommend speaking with our team.

They’ll be able to run through more checks, investigate what’s causing this, and help get this sorted.
