Network down in Bethnal Green

I’m having to use my work phone as a hotspot as EE has been down in Bethnal Green since yesterday. I also use the 4GEE for WiFi, so it’s been affecting my work too. They’ve sent no news or updates, when will this be resolved??

If you've not done so already, try toggling flight mode to ensure your phone hasn't "dropped off" available coverage.

Use the "check service status" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker in the first instance, to check for local service outages. The "report a problem" link should be used if no issues are reported but EE users continue to have issues.A loss of coverage will remove the ability to make/receive calls, send/receive texts or use mobile data. You can also register upto 5 UK postcodes for proactive updates on outages.

If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.

Hi.

I’m facing a network problem from past 28 hrs in Bethnal Green E2 0PG I spoke to ee guidance staff. And level 2 helpline as well they told me they will fix it in couple of hours yesterday but it’s been more 26 hrs still not fix. When I asked them either there will be a solution or I’ll have no internet forever they were clueless. Please fix the problem in this area this is so stressful.

Your post has been combined with another from yesterday discussing the same issue.

If there's a recognised network outage in a particular locality, then CS agents are unfortunately not in a position to resolve it themselves - some agents have access to the fault ticketing system to provide additional updates, I doubt these will derogate significantly from those available from the online webtool.

Ultimately, estimated fault fix times are a best guess but never a guarantee. If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.

This issue has not been resolved, how can “the UK’s biggest network” have issues for over 3 days and not send a single update or solution? The links that these EE members keep posting will send you in circles without any resolution. It’s clear that nothing is being done.

The vast majority of local network faults are resolved quickly, in a few days. That's not always possible, there can be many reasons why some take longer.

There may be access issues, specialist teams, return visits may be needed or perhaps additional spare parts.

None of these mean that "nothing is being done"

A simple update like this would have sufficed. I shouldn’t have to call multiple times just to understand what’s going on, it doesn’t reflect the level of service expected from EE.
