topic Mobile signal in Mobile Network discussions

I'm about to move house and would like to join EE for my broadband (no mobile or tv, just broadband). I noticed that my current pay as you go O2 mobile had no signal at the new house which means i have to change supplier. As I'm going with EE for my internet I naturally thought ill try them for my mobile too. BUT I'm worried that EE will also have no signal. Is there a way I can confirm before hand? I don't want to enter a mobile contract if it doesn't have signal. Also if this is the case and there's no signal, can I when I'm at home divert my mobile calls to a EE house phone perhaps? So I can receive calls via my mobile number even if I have no signal? Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi @CatrinHughes

If your phone is unlocked then try a PAYG SIM, but this won't be 5G.

You can also check the coverage guide, but remember this is a guide not a guarantee.

Thanks

The online coverage webtool will give a good estimate of coverage at any given location, but ultimately the best real-world test is to use an EE phone in your area.

EE offer WiFi-calling for any location where you have no mobile service but a working WiFi-connection - this allows full use of your phone for making & receiving calls, and sending & receiving text messages, without needing any mobile network coverage.
