There shouldn't be any concern from signal strength dropping in the same location. Mobile service is provided by multiple frequency bands, they all behave differently and this might just indicate a re-config has taken place.

Inability to use mobile data when coverage is shown, would be more concerning. Use the "report a problem" link on the web-check to report these.

Loss of coverage, is a different issue to not being able to use your phone when coverage is shown.

What happens when you have signal shown, but try making a call, sending a text or using mobile data?

You can check for local losses of coverage via "check service status" on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker

Signal strength in the same location has dropped from 3 to 1 bar on the same phone. No issues shown on the coverage checker.

When trying to use in certain areas around central London often it shows good signal and 4g but web pages don't load and apps can't connect.

It's like there's a broken mast somewhere .
